Company Description
GBatteries is an Ottawa based start up company that designed and developed an Active Battery Management System (ActiveBMS) - an innovative technological approach for battery management that enhances performance by optimizing ion flow based on measurement of a battery’s unique state and condition in real-time. After being funded by top-tier Silicon Valley investors, we shipped the first product (BatteryBox) equipped with ActiveBMS in December 2014. Since then, we've deployed thousands of batteries powered by ActiveBMS. Having sold units in over 38 countries, this is only the beginning. Our mission is to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and accelerate the adoption of renewable energy, one battery at a time.
